Once all documents are compiled they are to be submitted to the “Office of the Study Abroad JGBS (OSAJ)” through your programme director (documents to be mailed as a zip file to email@example.com).
In the first year of a two-year Master’s degree at JGBS, you can apply to take a Study Abroad year at QMUL during your second year at JGU. The Study Abroad year will lead to a QMUL degree award and will contribute towards the credits for the JGU degree award.

1. Make Your Application - by 15th April
Complete your personal details on the following

- • Scan of passport
- • One academic reference
- • Relevant Degrees and Transcripts: Bachelor Degree, Graduation Certificate, Bachelor Degree Transcripts, Master Degree Transcript.
- • IELTS test or a proof of year 12 English
You can send us some documents later if you don’t have them ready yet.
2. Receive and Accept Your Conditional Offer
First you will receive a conditional offer from the QMUL admissions team. You will be given log-in details and asked to accept your offer.
3. Apply for Your Accommodation - by 30th April
After you accept your place, you will receive a username and password and will be directed to apply for your housing. Once you have done this you will receive an email confirmation from housing services.
4. Receive Your Unconditional Offer
Email your final transcripts and English Language results as soon as you have them, and provided you meet the requirements of your conditional offer, you will be given an unconditional offer.
5. Apply for Your CAS Number
Information about applying for your CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Study) will be included in your unconditional offer.
6. Apply for Your Visa
The visa application process is complicated and can take up to 3 months, so please check the UKVI website and apply as soon as possible: www.gov.uk/tier-4-general-visa.
7. Prepare for Your Arrival
We will send you lots of information by email, so please make sure you read it all thoroughly. Start thinking about your visa application at the same

Academic: An overall grade of 70% in Undergraduate degree from recognized Indian University and GPA of 3.0 from first semester at JGU.
Overall IELTS score of 7.0 with no element lower than 6.5 to enter directly onto the programme at QMUL.
Overall IELTS score of either 6.5, will require a 5 week pre-sessional English course at QMUL.
80% in English in year 12 from an Indian Central Board school can also be accepted for direct entry onto the programme at QMUL.

You will be given a 10% discount on fees, and there may be Scholarships available depending on the programme.

The total cost of living in London (including housing, food, travel) will be roughly £1,250 per month. Housing on campus is around £130 - £160
